Where to Stay in Boxmeer During the Four Days Marches
Boxmeer is farther away (about 28 km), but it has a train station and, therefore, a direct public transportation route to Nijmegen. It’s a good option if everything closer by is booked up, or if you’re specifically looking for cheaper or more spacious accommodations.

Distance to the Wedren: about 28 km. By car, it takes about 30 minutes. By bike, allow about 75 minutes. By public transportation, allow 20 minutes by train. Nearest/relevant station: Boxmeer. Tip: good train service.
Type of stay in this area
Hotels, B&Bs, and occasionally campsites in the region. Less of a “Four Days Marches” village atmosphere than in Groesbeek or Mook, but a better chance of finding availability later in the season.

Train from Boxmeer Station (about 20 minutes). By car, about 30 minutes. For most runners, cycling is too far for a daily commute. Allow extra time in the morning for transfers.
